Due to an overwhelming response this year’s US OPEN has sold out on both the men’s and women’s sides.  A wait list will be form for any spots that may possibly open before the event begins.  If you would like to be put on the wait list please fill out a direct entry form and email it to Kristin@bpaa.com.  Entry forms with full payment will take priority on the list and will be taken in the order they are received. 

Also be sure to check out the Pre Tournament Qualifier that will be held on July 20th.  Enter for $100 and have a chance to win one of 36 spots (on each side).

Competition Bulletin

The list of bowlers invited to compete in the 2013 Bowling’s U.S. Open has been announced. A limited number of additional slots will be available for others looking to earn their way into this historic event. Entries for the men’s event will be limited to 288 players, while the women’s field will be capped at 144. Qualifying rounds will be conducted in Columbus, Ohio, July 21-27, at Wayne Webb’s Columbus Bowl, Columbus Western Bowl, and Holiday Lanes. Top prize in both the men’s and women’s events is $50,000.

The invited list includes:
  • Top 100 on the PBA points list.
  • The top 24 women’s finishers in the 2012 Bowling’s U.S. Women’s Open
  • Past men’s and women’s U.S. Open champions
  • The top 12 men and women on the WTBA points list.
